JKSSB Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The candidates who wish to apply for JKSSB Recruitment must know the JKSSB syllabus and exam pattern have District/ Divisional/ Union Territory. The candidates who will be attending the JKSSB exam must know what the comprehensive syllabus and exam pattern will look like before they start to prepare for the exam. This will help the candidates in covering the entire syllabus according to subject-wise topics for the examination.
- The aspirants can also practice various mock test or test series for the exam. Knowing the exam pattern of the examination is equally important to the candidates.
- The written exam will consist of four different sections. There will be four different subjects that fall under it, they are Basic Reasoning, Basic Maths, Basic English, and General Awareness & Science. The aspirants will have to focus and prepare with the syllabus for each subject.

J&K Services Selection Board recruitment will consist of two stages in the selection process. Candidates will have to clear both the written examination and document verification to be qualified for the post. We can now take a look at the detailed syllabus for the written examination. Candidates should follow the syllabus as given below while preparing for the examination.

JKSSB Exam Pattern 2021
The exam pattern will give candidates a better understanding of what the examination will look like. The exam pattern is as given below.

- The exam will be an OMR based Objective Type Questions examination.
- All the questions will be set only in English.
- The exam will be for a total of 100 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer in the marking scheme.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
JKSSB Document Verification 2021
The candidates who clear the written exam with the required cut off marks will be shortlisted for the Document Verification. This will be the last stage of the selection process. The candidates are required to carry along the original documents as well as a self-attested Photostat copy of each document given below. It is important to clarify that the candidate must be in possession of the prescribed academic qualification and age on or before the last date of submission of the online application form, and other documents like Domicile Certificate, Category Certificate, etc should be produced on the date of Document Verification.
- Matriculation/ Secondary School Marks Certificate.
- Matric Diploma (D.O.B)
- Order/letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as an equivalent qualification.
- Caste/ Category Certificate, if belongs to reserved categories.
- Two recent passport size photographs and one original ID proof (Aadhar CardVoters ID, etc)
- Candidates claiming domicile will have to produce the domicile certificate of Kashmir.
