A vehicle with explosives with letter was found abandoned close to (richest man) Mukesh Ambani's residence Antilia on Thursday evening.

The abandoned SUV was reportedly stolen from the Vikroli area of the city sometime back that said by Sources & mumbai police. The car's chassis number was damaged a bit but police managed to identify its real owner, said Mumbai police.



According to the Reports, the Mumbai bomb disposal squad towed away a green colour Scorpio that was found abandoned close to the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries' Residence Antilia. The probe is underway said mumabi Police.

A suspicious vehicle was found on Carmichael Road today under limits of Gamdevi PS near Mukesh Ambani's Residence, PRO, Mumbai Police said.

Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) team reached the spot immediately, They said, adding the squad examined the vehicle and found some explosive material Gelatin inside.

It was not an assembled explosive device, he said, adding that further investigation was on.

Following the incident, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also informed, "A car carrying Gelatin has been found near Ambani's residence in Mumbai today. Mumbai Police Crime Branch is investigating the whole matter on the way."

Security enhanced by Mumbai Police outside Richest Man Mukesh Ambani's house

Mumbai Police has deployed its security agency personnel outside popular businessman and Richest Man of India Mukesh Ambani's house following explosive materials and letter was found near his residence.

"Police deploy police personnel across the city and are conducting searches. The vehicle has been seized for investigation. A letter has been found inside the suspicious vehicle," informed Mumbai Police.

An FIR has also been registered in connection with the seizure of a vehicle, police told news agency Friday.

Antilia has three roof top helipads, parking for 168 cars, A 50-seat movie theater, three floors of Baby lon-inspired hanging gardens, a yoga studio and a fitness center.

A 'Threat letter' found in SUV

A 'threat letter' was found in the Scorpio  along with explosives near the residence of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani's residence, a source in Mumbai Police informed today to News agency .

As per the report from Mumbai Police, the handwritten letter which is in 'broken English' was addressed to Mukesh Ambani and his wife Neeta Ambani.

"A letter was also found in the car with the explosives near Antilia. The handwritten letter was in a broken English with lots of grammatical mistakes and was addressed to Mukesh Ambani and wife Neeta Ambani. It is basically a threat letter calling the planted explosives a 'its just a trailer' and a warning to return with more preparations to assassinate the whole family later," the source stated that
