Jammu Kashmir: In a COVID-19 test drive at Women's College Srinagar, three students of the college were confirmed Corona positive on Monday for the deadly virus.

Officials of the College told the news agency that three of its students were tested positive for COVID-19.

“As of now, we have decided not to close the institution,” the official said.

The officials said, “At least 520 tests were conducted in Womens College Srinagar yesterday where in three second semester students were tested positive for COVID-19 positive.”

Last week, Principal of Islamia College of Science and Commerce ordered closure of the establishment for a week following the outbreak of COVID-19 among its two faculty members.

Pertinently, after a gap of nearly eleven months, the colleges in winter zones of Jammu and Kashmir divisions reopened on February-15 for physical academic activities.
