16 Reasi Police Vehicles reincarnated to "Police Vaccination Ambulances; Reasi Police committed for 100% COVID Vaccination
During the surge in Covid cases in Jammu and Kashmir the largest UT of India, to assist civil administration & health department of district Reasi in fighting the deadly pandemic, after a major in-house exercise, Reasi Police has modified 16 Police troops carrier vehicles into *Police Vaccination Ambulances*. In the presence of Sh Mohd. Suleman Choudhary IPS Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhampur-Reasi range, S. Charandeep Singh KAS Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Dr. Mohd Yousaf Deputy Chief Medical Officer Reasi, District Police Reasi dedicated the modified ambulances to supplement the health department & act as ‘Force-Multiplier’ in vaccination drive in the remote areas of the District.
Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Sh Shailender Singh has nominated Additional SP Surjeet Kumar as Nodal Officer, assisted by the SDPO’s SHO’s for cause against Covid Pandemic.
More than 509 Police personnel along with 5774 Villager Defense Committee members are already engaged in awareness drive & ‘Force Multiplier’ in the vaccination campaign through out the District Reasi for Covid Protocol. Police & VDC are actively mobilizing eligible citizens & moving them to vaccination camps.
131 Police Personals are already deployed with district administration for House-to-House Mopping of Covid Positive Cases by the composite teams of health & civil administration.
SSP Reasi Mr Shailender conceived of the idea of modification of Police Vehicles into *Police Vaccination Ambulances* which will definitely help to reach every nook and corner of the district to achieve the target of 100% Covid Vaccination which is the only visible hope against this Pandemic.
Mr. Singh has also instructed down the line formation to arrange working lunch for needy citizens where it’s required & especially for those who lost their wages for day on vaccination. DSP Distt Armed Reserve Mumtaz Ali Bhatti has been entrusted to coordinate the fleet of ambulances with the officers of health department.
