JK SOCIAL WELFARE POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP YEAR 2021-22 FOR SC/OB/EB/PCP/DNT Students
Submission of On-line scholarship applications under Post. Matric Scholarship Schemes for students belonging to Schedule Caste(SCS), Other Backward Classes (OBCs),
Economically Backward Classes (EBCs), Physically Challenged Persons (PCP) & Denotified Nomadic & Semi Nomadic (DNTs) Categories for the year
2021-2022.
Online scholarship applications are invited in both Fresh(first time applicant) and Renewal applicant who got scholarship during categories and from the students pursuing studies within & outside the UT of Jammu & Kashmir in Government Government Recognized Educational
Institutions undergoing Xl, XII, Diploma. Graduation/Post-Graduation Level Courses, B_Ed, M.PhiI, Ph.D & Professional{Technical Degree Courses at Under Graduate or Post-Graduate Levels etc. for the following categories:-
1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Schedule Caste (PMS-SC)
2. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Other Backward Classes, '(PMS-
0BCs)
3. Dr Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Economically Backward Classes (EBCs) Government Institution only.
4. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Physically, Challenged students
(PCPs)
5. Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Post Matric Sche De-notified Nomadic Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNTs)

On-line implementation of the above mentioned Scholarship Schemes will be done through State Portal Scholarship under URL:-https//jk.govin/jkeservices. Only online applications under these Schemes will be accepted and no request for Offline applications will be entertained.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AVAILING THE SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE-
I. To avail the Scholarship service a candidate has to log in to URL:-. https://jk.gov.in
Jk eservices and before applying for the Service, User has to register using the Register Link given on the menu.
2. Applicant has to upload the original scanned copies (jpg image) Of the requisite documents of size less than 20kb and the same should be legible.
3 Please select the Role Type (Citizen) while entering login credentials.
4. Please note the Citizen ID after successful registration as iC will be required at the time of availing the service.
5. After login. the applicant has to Click on the e-services tab in, the left menu and thereafter dick on social welfare and under social welfare clifk on PostMatric Scholarship.
6. Please note the user ID and Password entered by the student during the registration for subsequently.
7. Aadhar Number of theyapplicang nps to be filled in the relevant of the application.
8. Filling up of number and e-mailthe application, is mandatory,
9. Students who are already avaiing scholarship shall fill their Renewal form.

The value of scholarship as per Govt. norms include maintenance allowance Plus non-refundable fee compulsorily payable by the student.
studying in Govemment or Government recognized educational Institutions by the Government/UGC/Board of Technical Education and similar Statutory Professional Councils of India for recognized, courses.

Documents/information required to be uploaded by the applicants:-
1. One passport size photograph.
2. Permanent Residence Certificate /DomiciIe Certificate.
3. Fee Receipt in original with name of candidate date and class/semester.
4. Self attested Promotion Certificate/ Mark Sheet of previous class/semester duly seated and signed by the competent authority
5. Valid Hosteller Certificate issued by the Institution.
6. Income Certificate:
Parents [Guardians current income certificate. in original. from the concerned Tehsildar (in case of students whose parents/guardians are not Government employees). In case of wards of Government employees, salary certificate issued by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers. (Income certificate with cutting!mutation will lead to rejection of Application forms.)
7. Valid Category Certificate (OBC, SC, EBC's/ DNT's) from the competent
authority.
8. Disability Certificate indicating 40% and above disability in case of Physically Challenged Students (PCPs),
9. For Economically Backward Classes, only those students do not belong to any other category can apply.
10. Aadhaar Number along with photocopy of Aadhaar Card and seeding of Aadhar with 16 digit Bank account numBer shall lead to smooth transaction of sanctioned amount of scholarship in favour of eligible students.
11. Mobile Number and email id is Mandatory.
12. Affidavit duly attested by notary to be uploaded. The specimen of the affidavit is as under:
• I am not in receipt of any other scholarship from any other Institution/Department for the period for which scholarship is sought.
• I am not pursuing any other course from any other Institution for vhich I have applied for another scholarship
• All details mentiorwd in the form and documents attached are true and t and nothing has been concealed therein.
I understand that'in case am found guilty of any wrong information for misleading the Government, the government is liable to take any necessary action against me under rules. including recovery of the scholarship amount/being listed/debarred from any scholarship in the future.
THE GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIP IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
I. Mere filling of online scholarship application form will confer no right on the student that he,' she wilt be granted scholarship,
ll. Preference will be given to the Government Institutions.
Ill. Scholarship will be subject to availability of funds and also the merit and income of the applicant/family,
M A scholarship holder under these schemes will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the same course/class from any other Agency/Oepartment.
THE INCOME LIMIT PRESCRIBED FOR VARIOUS CATEGORIES IS AS
UNDER
• Other Backward Classes(OBCs) upto Rs. 2.50 lacs per annum
• Economically Backward Classes (EBCs) upto Rs 2.50 lacs per annum.
• Physically Challenged Person (PCP) upto Rs. 2.50 lacs per annum.
• Schedule Caste (SC) upto Rs. 2.50 lacs per annum.
• De-notified No Scholarship nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNTs) upto Rs. 2.50 lacs per annum-
TIME-LINE FOR STUDENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATIONS:.
1) Submission of online application forms by students 30/06/2021
2) Submission or hard coples of application lorrns along With all requisite documents to concerned Institutes. 15/07/2021
3) Verification Forwarding of On-line Applications by Institute Nodal Officer to the concerned DSWO and from DSWOs to the Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu. 31/01/2021
Note:- (i) Hard copy of the Scholarship form shall not be entertained in the Directorate as e-disposal is the mode of delivery of service.
(ii) Furthur no extension beyond 30/06/21 WII be given to students for submission of on-line application form-
