Udhampur- 2 poor daughters who lost their father in a road accident 5 years back have now their mother diagnosed with cancer. Sunita Gupta, a resident of ward number 7 of Karan Nagar, Udhampur has 2 two daughters pleading for help.

According to the daughters, the family’s only source of income was the elder’s tuition classes which had a full stop due to the covid-19 lockdown. The family now struggles for their mother’s medicines and has pleaded for help.

“I used to give tuitions. The 3000-4000 that I earned went for my Mother’s medicines. The lockdown has turned out to be a problem for us. We lack on basic necessities. All our savings have finished.” The elder sister said

“The only things we ask for is medicines. We can starve but can’t compromise on our mother’s health. We request the Administration to provide us basic medicines.” The younger one added
