All Haj 2021 applications cancelled in wake of Covid-19




J&K: The Haj Committe of India on Tuesday officially cancelled applications for Haj-2021 three days after Saudi Arabia limited this year’s pilgrimage to 60,000 pilgrims from within the kingdom in view of COVID-19 pandemic.

A circular was issued to this effect by Chief Executive Officer, Haj Committe of India, Dr Maqsood Ahmad Khan while referring to the Saudi government’s decision to limit this year’s pilgrimage to citizens and residents only.


 
“Hence it had been decided by the Haj Committee of India that all the applications for Haj-2021 stands cancelled, ” reads the circular
