New Delhi: In a bizarre incident reported from Delhi, a man who had ordered a remote control car from an e-commerce site was surprised when he was delivered a packet of Parle-G biscuits. The incident was reported from Delhi’s Bhagwan Nagar Ashram area on Monday.
Vikram Buragohain took to Facebook to share that he received a packet of Parle-G biscuit in his Amazon order. While sharing a picture of the package he received, Vikram wrote, "When you get Parle-G biscuit instead of what you ordered from Amazon India....hahahahaha. Ab Chai banana padega."
He had ordered a remote control car for children from the e-commerce site. When the package arrived, he was surprised to see that it was small in size. When he opened the box, he found out that it contained a pack of Parle-G biscuit instead of the remote control car he had ordered.
The post is doing rounds on social media. One user said, "They might have thought that yeh toh koi bachcha hi hoga isliye Parle-G je kaam chala liya." Another joked, "At least it's not a brick." Yet another added, "Biscuit kha ab."
Vikram said that he complained with the e-commerce platform about the wrong delivery of the product and added the company has initiated the refund process and issued an apology for the same.

Last month, a Mumbai-based man had ordered a Colgate mouthwash from Amazon and received a new Redmi Note 10 phone instead.
"Since mouthwash is a consumable product, returns are restricted and I am unable to request a return via the app," he had tweeted while sharing a picture of the new phone.
His order had been replaced with that of a Hyderabad woman who had received the mouthwash instead of the phone.
