Employees terminated over demand for pending wages Jammu Kashmir
J&K: NEET based health workers who were appointed at different hospitals have been terminated from their duty. Now the workers are appealing to the government to restore their services.
While talking to Media, a worker said, “we were appointed under 239F order, and in 2017, the government took back the order, but there were timely appointments under the order. In 2016 when our 28-32 months wages were pending, then we demanded our wages. At that time, the administration disengaged 90 of us.
Around five workers went to Court and they were restored back to their jobs. Then we also went to Court, but this time we were not appointed back to our jobs. In 2017 they issued posts, but we got a stay order on the issued posts from the Court. In the order, it is mentioned that the administration can only appoint other candidates after regularizing the petitioners.
Even after the Court’s order, they didn’t fix us. Then we approached the Secretariat in 2018, and the Secretariat then proclaimed re-appointing us under Section 520. But still, we have not been appointed.”
The members appealed that if our case is justified, then the government should re-appoint us
