Income certificates are provided by Revenue department. Applicant must visit the revenue department authorities or tehsildar to apply in person with the documents specified under required documents session.
How can I get income certificate online in Jammu and Kashmir?
Submit the completed application obtained from office. Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted will make enteries and provide you record number for reference.
This application will be verified by the circle officer / Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and Revenue Inspector (RI).
There will be a ground level verification and scrutiny of the documents and details provided.
Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective authority/tehsildar to decide and issue the Income Certificate to the applicant.
Applicant will get the Income certificate with in 7 days after due verification.
What documents are required for income certificate ?
1) Application form
2) Applicant Identity proof
3) Self declaration from the applicant.
4) Residential Proof: Residential Certificate issued by Local administration office/ Aadhar card/ Passport / Driving License / Ration Card / Govt. Id card / Defence ID Card / PAN Card.
5) Age proof (birth certificate / school certificate)
6) Income Proof: Salary certificate, Income proof from competent authority, income tax return acknowledgement.
7) Applicant passport size photograph.
8) Two different Gazette Officers certification(as per requirement) Education records duly signed Aadhaar card
9) Land revenue receipt (in case of farmer if available).
10) Affix stamp as advised by authorities if required.
Eligibility for Income Certificate
a) Applicant must be a resident of the state Jammu Kashmir Citizen of India.
b) If required to produce an income certificate for any purpose is eligible.
What is the validity of income certificate in Kashmir?
Income Certificate Valid upto a period of 6 months from date of issue and for Educational Purposes income certificate is valid for current session year.
