Reasi: 9 Shops sealed in District Reasi for violating COVID-19 Guidelines
Reasi: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Charandeep Singh, Tehsildar Reasi conducted surprise inspection in the vicinity of Reasi today on Saturday to take stock of implementation of weekend COVID-19 lockdown measures in the District.
During the extensive inspection, the Tehsildar Reasi, found that 9 shops were violating the SOPs and ordered to seal them including imposition of fine.
Shops which were sealed for violating COVID guidelines included 3 chicken shops near IRP gate and Geeta Nagar, one tent house located opposite to Convent School in ward number 6 and four karyana shops near Convent School, Nai Basti, Kambal Danga and ward number 12 respectively.
DC Reasi Charandeep Singh reiterated that any violation of government directives will lead to penal action and such surprise visits will continue to ensure discipline in larger public interest. He further advised the shopkeepers to implement the roaster regarding opening of shops in letter and spirit.
The people advised to adhere to all SOP's, guidelines envisaged to curb COVID-19 pandemic spread, DC said.
