IIT Kharagpur Invites Online Applications For Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has launched the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2022 official website and invited online applications from candidates to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022.

Candidates can register themselves between August 30 and September 24, 2021. The examination will be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022.It may be noted that this year GATE 2022 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and six other Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee and Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria:
Currently studying in the 3rd or higher year of any undergraduate degree programme or has already completed a government-approved degree programme in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts.Application
Fee for GATE 2022:
Female candidates (per paper): Rs 750 & Rs 1250 (extended period)
SC/ST/ PwD category candidates (per paper): Rs 750 & Rs 1250 (extended period)
All other candidates (per paper): Rs 1500 & Rs 2000 (Extended period)

Computer Based Test (CBT)
Duration: 3 hours
Number of Subjects (Papers): 29
Sections: General Aptitude (GA) + Candidate's Selected Subject(s).
Type of Questions:
(a) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
(b) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and/or Numerical Answer Type (NAT)
Questions for testing these abilities: Recall, Comprehension, Application, Analysis and Synthesis.
