Jammu Kashmir schools to remain closed till further notice
J&K: Jammu and Kashmir schools and coaching centers to remain closed for physical classes, said a notification released by Union Territory's Government.
Kashmir Government on Sunday released an updated list of restrictions about Covid-19. “All schools and higher educational institutions, including coaching centers, shall remain closed for onsite/in-person teaching, till further orders,” said the notification.
The Kashmir Government has asked the schools to check on the vaccination of their staff. “However, educational institutions are permitted to seek the personal attendance of vaccinated staff for administrative purposes,” adds the notification.
School reopening process in Kashmir
Schools in Kashmir will start reopening once the staff will be vaccinated. “Government shall consider phased re-opening of institutions where 100% vaccination of staff and students has achieved,” said the notification.
Night curfew to remain in forces in all districts of UT from 8 pm to 7 am.
