JKDSD ITI Admission Application Form: The Directorate of Skill Development, J&K invited applications from desirous candidates of Jammu and Kashmir who are seeking admission to ITI courses. These applications have been invited for admission of eligible candidates to 2021-22-23 academic sessions in different ITI courses (Engineering and Non-Engineering trades). Through JKDSD ITI Admission 2021 process, candidates will be granted admission in various Government and Private ITIs running under NCVT and SCVT schemes across the UT.

JKDSD ITI 2021 Applications forms for interested candidates were released on 16th July 2021. The last date of application submission is 5th August 2021 But Now its Extended till 25th August 2021. Those who are seeking admissions to JK ITI programs must apply before August 25. The Selection of candidates for all the self-financing seats as well as for free seats will be based on the merit of applicants in the qualifying exam i.e, 8th, 10th. The admission authority does not conduct any entrance test for the selection of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria Details

All the aspiring candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions specified by the Admission department. Eligibility details are provided on the admission notification which prospective applicants can avail from JKDSD portal. Domicile Criteria

Candidates applying for Jammu and Kashmir ITI admission need to be a permanent resident of J&K and should possess a valid domicile certificate.

Age Criteria

The minimum age of applicants should be 18 years for Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV) Trade as on 1st June 2021.

The minimum age criteria for other applicants is 14 years as on 1st June 2021.

No upper age limit bar is there.

Educational Qualification Criteria

Candidates must have qualified class 10th or class 12th examination from a recognized Board.

Those who have already completed training in any of the ITI can apply for any other Trade. They must ensure that they can apply two years after the completion of previous ITI program.

Applications are invited online and aspiring candidates have to apply through the official portal. The step-by-step online application procedure is shown below-

Steps to Apply for JKDSD Registration

Before proceeding to application form, candidates must register themselves on the admission portal. Once registration is over, they fill the application form.

 

Step 1- Begin with opening the official portal of JKDSD first.

Step 2- Click on Application link for ITI 2021 admission link shared on the homepage of the portal.

Step 3- Login page will open.

Step 4- Click on “New registration” tab.

Step 5- Enter the mobile no. and click on “Sent OTP” button.

Step 6- Validate the OTP and complete the registration process by entering required details.

How to fill Application Form

After successful registration, applicants can proceed to fill the application form. The application process is given as under-

Open the login page as shown above.

Enter the registered mobile no. and password in the respective block. Click on login button to move ahead.

Now, ITI application form will open.

Fill the basic details such as personal details, address details etc. correctly in the space provided.

 

Fill qualification details.

Upload scanned copy of the required documents. (Should be uploaded in the specified format)

Pay the application fee using the available mode of payments.

Submit the application form. Do verify all the details entries before clicking on submit button.

After successful submission of application form, download the form and take a printout of the same.

After completing the online application and printing filled in form, applicants are required to submit it along with the scanned copy of all the documents (self attested) at the concerned ITI where they have applied for admission.

Application Fee

While filling the application form, applicants also have to make payment of the requisite application fee. They have to pay an application of Rs.100/- per three ITI trades.

Documents Required

Applicants need to upload a soft copy of documents prescribed by the Directorate at the time of online application. Check the list of documents to be uploaded shared as under-

2) Aadhaar Card

3) Category Certificate, if applicable (for ST/SC/EWS/ Physically handicapped/ Ex.Serviceman)

The application that is submitted online is then verified by the Directorate. On the basis of scrutiny of application forms, Directorate will prepare a merit list. This merit list will be based on the marks of the candidates in the qualifying exam. Merit list will be hosted on the admission portal for intimation to the applicants. Considering the merit list and preferences filled, ITIs will be allotted to the applicants. The new academic session will be commenced in September and after the completion of the course, candidates will be awarded the ITI Certificate.
