School principal dies in road accident, Car slipped into deep gorge while negotiating a curve
Reasi: Principal of Higher Secondary School Channa in tehsil Chassana of district Reasi died when his car rolled down into a deep gorge near Chassana.
The deceased, namely Mukhtyar Ahmed Wani (56), son of Abdul Rashid Wani of Channa Sungri, tehsil Chassana, was going from Sungri to Chassana when his car, bearing registration number JK02BV-2277 slipped into deep gorge while negotiating a curve. He reportedly died on the spot.
Police with the help of locals shifted the victim to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. Later the dead body was sent for postmortem and other legal formalities. The car was completely damaged in the accident.
Deceased Mukhtyar Ahmed Wani was recently elevated as Principal and posted at Higher Secondary School Channa.
Meanwhile, another a bike rider was injured when his bike JK 20-6186 collided with a car JK 20 A -2899 at Geeta Nagar on Reasi Gran Morh road. The injured was identified as Yograj (35), son of Deewan Chand of Kanthan Arnas. He was shifted to DH Reasi for treatment and his condition was reported to be stable.
