How to Get Lost Marksheet of 10th/12th from Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education

1) Candidates can get the Duplicate Copy of Marks Card in case of loss of certificate or destroyed by flood or fire.

 

2) A candidate must lodge a complaint in the nearest Police Station Immediately. If the certificate is not traceable, the candidate should obtain a non-traceable certificate from the Police within one week or timeline given by authority. 

3) Based on the above Non-traceable certificate issued by police station, lost certificate from the tehsildar/First class magistrate concerned may be obtained.

 

4) If the marks card certificate is totally destroyed by flood or fire, a certificate to the effect has to be obtained from the tehsildar/First class Magistrate concerned.

5) If the certificate is partially damaged and cannot be used, the same should be enclosed with the application for duplicate. In this case there is no need to get non-traceable certificate from Police or from tehsildar.

6) Apply In-Person through School

Application should be in the prescribed form. Application form should be filled in by the applicant only.

 

7) Student have go to the school/institution where applicant studied 10th/12th and student also obtain the application form from the office or Download from here Application form

8) Submit originals along with Xerox of all documents (FIR, AFFIDAVIT, marks card Xerox, application form, bank challan as appropriate).

 

9) The Head of the concerned school will counter sign the application and sent to the state education board (JKBOSE)

10) Signed Xerox copy will be returned to applicant for further reference.

11) The loss of certificate will be published in Gazette by the state education board, A copy of the notification along with the application will be subjected for further processing.

 

12) The application will be scrutinized and certificate will be prepared.

The candidate will be informed to collect the certificate when ready. With the letter received from the state education board the candidate should approach the office of the state education board and receive the certificate.
