Jammu traders give shutdown call on Sep 22 against opening of Reliance Marts, other issues

Jammu: Retail Store Started in Jammu; Chamber Announced Jammu Bandh on Wednesday, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu has announced a Jammu bandh on Wednesday in protest against the neglect of Jammu, including the opening of retail stores in Jammu by Reliance Company.

On this issue, Traders Federation WareHouse Nehru Market had warned of launching a massive agitation against this move of the government by holding a press conference and now on behalf of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu, the apex organization of industry and trade, Jammu’s On Saturday, a press conference was held on the issue of traders, in which the Jammu bandh was announced on Wednesday, opposing the opening of retail stores. The Chamber said that all business establishments would remain closed on this day.

 

Talking about Jammu’s traders’ organizations apart from the Chamber and Warehouse, Chamber of Traders Federation, Retailers Federation Jammu, Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association, Kanak Mandi Traders Association, and Apsara Road Traders Association are the leading organizations, and the head of WareHouse Federation is Deepak Gupta. With the issue of opening the Reliance Store being raised from the side, all the organizations are now preparing to raise their voice in unison.
