Senior NC Leader Ishfaq Jabbar resigns as NC District President Ganderbal
Jammu: Senior National Conference leader Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has resigned as the party's District President for central Kashmir's Ganderbal.
"I'm resigning from the post of District President @JKNC_ Ganderbal & I will continue to carry forward the mission of Sher-e-Kashmir for which the people of J&K have sacrificed, " he wrote in tweet this morning.
Ishfaq said that he has resigned from the district president Ganderbal due to some personal engagements, adding that he will continue to be part of National Conference.
Pertinent to mention that the election for the post of new district president Ganderbal is going to be held in coming days, party sources informed.
