Three Boys Saved from Becoming Militants, Handed over to Families after Consultation 





Kupwara: The police stopped three youths from becoming terrorists. The three youths were going to PoK by crossing the LoC (Line of Control) to join terrorism and weapons training. SSP Kupwara Yugal Manhas said that three boys from the Meez area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district had contacted a terrorist commander.
 


After which, these three were going to cross the Line of Control via Kupwara to train weapons. However, on interrogation, the police found that these youths of South Kashmir were motivated towards terrorism by terrorist Tayyeb Farooqui, active from Pakistan, through social media platforms.


 
The trio has been identified as Furqan Sultan Khande (16, a Class 10 student), son Mohammad Sultan Khande, Furqan Nazir Khande (16, Class 10 student), son Nazir Ahmed Khande and Kamran Sajjad Sheikh (16, a student) son Sajjad Ahmed Sheikh. has happened in All are residents of Meez Pampore village in Pulwama district. After they were caught, the parents of the youth were called, and after counselling, the juveniles were handed over to them.
