A major crime incident averted by PS Satwari Jammu, Two accused arrested with weapon
Jammu: A police team of P/S Satwari led by SHO P/S Satwari Inspr Deepak Jasrotia assisted by PSI Darshan Singh while on patrolling duty near Airport Jammu found one Vehicle (Baleno) bearing No. JKO2CE-5360 parked on roadside in darkness. On this, police team inquired the persons sitting in the vehicle on which the persons started shouting and assaulted the police officials on duty, but overpowered swiftly by police team.
During search a Chinese pistol along with magazine was recovered from their possession which they had carried for committing some serious crime in the area.
On this a case FIR no 282/21 U/S 353/34 IPC, 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at PS Satwari and accused got arrested later identified as
1) Randeep Singh S/O Khushwant Singh R/O Nanak Nagar, Jammu
2) Lobjot Singh S/O S. Inderjeet Singh R/O, Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
The overall arrests and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO South PK Mengi. Also the above mentioned vehicle was seized in the case.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
