J&K Boy Amaan Selected In Indian Under-19 Cricket Team For Four Nations Cup In Dubai
Rajouri: In what could be termed as a good news for border district Rajouri and a motivation for thousands of talented young cricketers of the area, Amaan Zari has been selected for national under19 cricket team.
He will be part of the team in four nations cricket tournament starting in Dubai next month.
Officials said the boy is a budding talented cricketer. Son of Aqeel Zaari and Yasmeen Zaari of main town Rajouri, the teenage boy is a student of 11th class and took cricket training in Irfan Pathan cricket academy Punjab.
Amaan Zari said that after taking training in Ifran Pathan cricket academy in Punjab, he performed in a screening test and got selected for under 19 National Cricket team.
“ It was like a dream coming true as I am a boy from far-flung and border district Rajouri and have been selected to represent the nation," Amaan said.
He added that after been selected for under 19 National Cricket team, he will be part of this team which will play in four nation cricket tournament starting in Dubai next month.
" I am an all rounder and will try my level best to give best in this tournament,'' he said.
On being asked Amaan said that his next dream is to represent the country in main cricket team and to play with big cricketing guns like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
