JKSSB to conduct written exam for 80000 candidates from 20th December



Chairman JKSSB holds a review meeting to oversee arrangements for Computer based Written Test Examination (CBT) 2021 for various posts scheduled from 20th December, to 12th January 2022.

The Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (IKSSB) held a review meeting to take stock of the arangements put in place for smooth
conduct of forthcoming Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination for various posts of
Agriculture Production Department, Finance Department and Skill Development
Department at 21 Examination Venues/Centres in Jammu, Kathua, Srinagar, Budgam
and Baramulla districts.
 


The aforesaid, examination is scheduled to be conducted in multiple
batches and approximately, 80,000 unique candidates are scheduled to appear at 21
different locations/venues setup in the aforesaid district of J&K UT.



Adequate security arrangements have been put in place at each
Examination Centre. The concerned District Magistrates have issued Prohibitory
Orders under section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) around the Examination
Centres during the timing of examination.



A multi layered structure for supervision has
also been established with one Centre Observer and Centre Magistrate for each
Examination Centre by respective district Administrations Besides, 21 officers have
been deployed as Examination Observers by the General Administration Department
and 10 IT professionals have been deployed by Information Technology Department
for monitoring of the said CBT Examination.



The J&K Police has also deployed security
personnel for frisking and maintenance of law and order at each venue/ location. In
addition to above, the CBT shall be conducted under CCTV surveillance for maintaining
transparency in the written examination.



An orientation programme was also organised by the JKSSB at Jammu
and Srinagar for Examination Observers deployed by the General Administration
Department, General Observers/ Magistrates deployed by District Administrations and
IT Professionals deployed by Information Technology Department.



Further, the JKSSB has also deployed Liaison Officers/ District
Observer(s) for each dilstrict in order to oversee the arrangements, coordination with
varlous stakeholders and real-time redressal of issues, if any, at examination venues.



The JKSSB wishes best of luck to all the candidates taking CBT
examination from 20th December, 2021 onwards. However, the candidates scheduled
to take CBT examination are also cautioned to desist from indulging in any unfair
means practice like Impersonation, carrying of prohibited items, Communication
device, electronic equipment/ gadget or any other material with the intention
recelving assistance.
 


The candidates found to be attempting/ using any unfair means
practice during the examination, shall be dealt with strictly, as per the provisions of
the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (Conduct of Examinations)
Regulations, 2013 including debarring of such candidates for appearing in future
examinations.
