Vidyut Jammwal
Vidyut Jammwal, born in Jammu to an army officer made a bollywood debut with with the John Abraham starrer 2011 film ‘Force’. Jammwal later acted in Hindi-language film Commando, which proved to be a turning point of his career and gave him recognition. He is known as an action king of bollywood and has made a niche for himself in the industry with his great martial arts and acting skills. Also, he has also been part of a number of popular magazine lists. Moreover, he is a vegan and in 2018 PETA campaign for India’s National Nutrition Week, the actor showed off his muscular physique alongside the words “Kick the meat habit. Go vegan.”
Mukesh Rishi
Mukesh Rishi (born 19 April 1956) is an Indian actor and film producer who worked primarily in Hindi and Telugu films. He has also appeared in Malayalam, Punjabi and Tamil films. He got his first break in Hindi in 1988 and has since, established himself as a leading character actor. Although he started his career in films as a villain, he has diversified into positive roles. He joins a list of non-Telugu speaking actors, such as Amrish Puri, Puneet Issar, Sharat Saxena, Pradeep Rawat and Sayaji Shinde who have established themselves in Telugu movies.
Mohit Raina
Mohit Raina was born into a Kashmiri Brahmin family on 14 August 1982 to P.L. Raina and Sushma Kumara and raised in Jammu. He went to Mumbai to begin his career in modeling later tried acting and his acting career began in 2004 with a science fiction TV show called ‘Antariksh’. He is best known for the lead role of the Hindu god Shiva in the television series ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ and ‘Mahabharat’ prior to which he had acted in television soap operas including ‘Chehra’ and ‘Ganga kii Dheej’. Though Mohit Raina had a small part in 2008 film ‘Don Muthu Swami’, his full-fledged Bollywood debut happened in National Award-winning film ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ (2019). Mohit Raina made his digital debut with 2019 web show ‘Kaafir’ opposite Dia Mirza.
Asim Riaz
Asim Riaz was born on 13th July 1993 in Jammu and Kashmir. He is raised up in Jammu and did his schooling from Delhi Public School, Jammu. Asim garnered spotlight during his stint on season 13 of the show, which aired in 2019, where he met his lady love Himanshi Khurana. Since then, he has featured in several music videos including “Kalle sohna nai” and his maiden rap album “Back to start”, and is now geared up for his next track “Sky high”, which also features his Himanshi. The Kashmiri boy’s love for a healthy body and mind is not hidden from anyone. He is someone who worships his daily workout routine and never skips a day from his workout sessions. Asim has been busy with multiple projects ever since his BB 13 came to an end.
Shaheer Sheikh
Sheikh was born on 26 March 1984 in Bhaderwah, Doda, Jammu and Kashmir to Shahnawaz Sheikh and Dilshad Sheikh. In 2009 Sheikh made his television debut in ‘Kya Mast Hai Life’, where he played Veer Mehra, a teenager who loves music and playing guitar. After second season of the show ended, Sheikh was seen in ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ as ‘Nana Sahib’. He worked on another series for Disney called Best of Luck Nikki. His other works include ‘Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal’, ‘Teri Meri Love Stories’ and ‘Mahabharat’. Actor Shaheer Sheikh recently stepped into the shoes of Manav, a character once played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the television show ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
Aly Goni
Aly Goni was born on 25 February 1991 to a Muslim family in Bhaderwah, Jammu & Kashmir. He is the son of Amjad Goni and Ruby Goni. In 2012, Aly started his career by participating in the reality show MTV ‘Splitsvilla 5’. In 2013, he made his acting debut with Star Plus’s show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ where he played Romi Bhalla until it’s end in 2019. He has participated in reality shows like MTV ‘Splitsvilla 5’, ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’, Box Cricket League, ‘Nach Baliye 9’ and ‘Bigg Boss 14’. Aly was ranked 12th in 2018, 14th in 2019 and 3rd in 2020 in the Times of India’s 20 Most Desirable Men on Television in India. He was ranked at 22nd position in the Times of India’s 50 Most Desirable Men of 2020.
