How to Download GATE 2022 Response Sheet
Candidates can only download GATE response sheet from the gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The steps to download it are as follows:
Step 1 – Click on the link above.
Step 2 – On clicking the link, GATE 2022 GOAPS opens. It looks as shown below.
Step 3 – Access the GOAPS by entering Enrollment Id / E-mail Address and Password.
Step 4 – After login, candidate can see the dashboard. There, click on the ‘view response’ button.
Step 5 – Now, the response sheet of GATE 2022 will open and candidates can check and download it.
The response sheet also has GATE 2022 question paper. Apart from this, the response also contains other details, which are given under the next section.

How to Use GATE 202 Response Sheet to Calculate Score
Candidates need GATE 2022 answer key along with the response sheet to calculate scores. To do so, candidates may simply follow these steps below.
- Open answer key for respective GATE subject paper.
- Open response sheet as well.
- Start cross-checking answers given in the key with that marked in the response sheet.
- For each answer that matches, add 1 or 2 marks (as per the question).
- Also, for every answer that does not matches, deduct 1/3 or 2/3 marks for each answer that does not matches.
- Lastly, add the marks for all the answers and deduct it from the subtotal of all the negative marks.
Candidates can use this formula below to calculate marks
GATE Raw Marks = Total of correct answers – Total of incorrect answers

How to Challenge GATE 2022 Response Sheet
The response sheet of GATE 2022 is system generated. Hence, there is no provision to challenge it. However, candidates can challenge answer key of GATE by paying Rs. 500.
GATE 2022 Result
After the release of the response sheet and answer key, GATE 2022 result will be declared. IIT KGP will release the result on March 17, 2022. Candidates will be able to check their result on the official website. It will be made available in the candidate portal. In it, details such as All India Rank, GATE 2022 score, qualifying status, etc will be given. This result will be based on the final answer key. After the result, the scorecard will be available for download from March 21, 2022. Candidates must download the scorecard for future use.
About GATE 2022
GATE 2022 or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an exam that tests the candidate’s knowledge of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Based on the result of this exam, candidates get admission in Masters/Doctoral programs of their choice in various colleges across India. The courses included are M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Sc. In addition to this, some PSUs also offer recruitment based on GATE scores. GATE 2022 is being conducted by IIT Kharagpur. This annual exam is hosted by different IITs each year, namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati and IIT Chennai.
