J&K: Two Students From Ukraine Reach Home Safely




Jammu: Two students, who were studying in Ukraine, safely reached their native places in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official here on Tuesday said that two students of Udhampur district, who were studying in the war-torn country, have reached home safely, even as another student is still stranded there.



Meanwhile, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib, Tehsildar Udhampur Amit Verma visited the residence of the three students.



He said that the officer met with Vijay Kumar, who is the father of Parul Mahajan, a resident of Sallan Talab area, who still stranded in Ukraine.
 


 The Tehsildar also met with Arjun Singh, father of Aheena Rajput, pursuing MBBS in Ukraine and Sanjay Kumar, father of Stuti Kashyap, who have returned safely from Ukraine.
 


The visiting officer assured the families of all possible support from district administration.
 He apprised the family members about the tireless efforts being made by the Central Government for safe evacuation of the students.
