JAMMU: All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations here today demanded age relaxation of five years for SC and ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates for Combined Competitive Exams (CCE) conducted by JKPSC.

Reacting against the latest notification by LG, Manoj Sinha concerning the age relaxation for Combined Competitive Exams conducted by JKPSC, Confederation president, R.K Kalsotra said the notification by the LG states that upper age for general category is increased to 35 years and that of reserved categories to 37 years.

He claimed that according to guidelines followed by UPSC and DOPT, the age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years but this is not being implemented by J&K.
