UPSC 2nd rank holder Ankita Agarwal shares that she did not let the pressure of civil services exams hover over her head and balanced it well without hampering her lifestyle.

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, results were declared on Monday, May 30, 2022. This year, the top three positions have been attained by girls, including Shruti Sharma at the top rank, Ankita Agarwal at the second position, and Gamini Singla in the third position.
Ankita Agarwal, who hails from Kolkata, was motivated and passionate about clearing the UPSC exam with flying colours. There were no grey areas in her career plans. She was sure to appear for the UPSC exam and crack it.
"My parents supported me a lot throughout my journey," she said. Moreover, they never burdened her with their dreams or forced her to study hard. "My parents were never forceful about my career plans," she said.
Breaking the stereotypes about UPSC, Ankita kept her preparations quite balanced. She used to take breaks and meet her friends.
The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, declared the UPSC Civil Services Final Result 2021 today, on May 30 on its official website, upsc.gov.in.
As many as 685 candidates have been appointed on the basis of their performance in the mains and personality tests.
A total of 749 vacancies were reported by the official website of UPSC, out of which 180 seats would be reserved for IAS cadres, 37 for IFS, 200 for IPS, 242 for Central Services Group A, and 90 in Group B Services.
