JKSSB’s FAA, JE Civil Recruitment List Cancelled, CBI Probe Recommended
JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led J&K administration has cancelled the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) Finance Accounts Assistant and Junior Engineer Civil recruitment and recommended a CBI probe after the recruitment came under the scanner.
“JKSSB FAAs & JE Civil recruitment has been cancelled & a CBI probe recommended into selection process. Govt assures all aspirants that culprits will not be spared & there won’t be any compromise on merit. Fresh recruitment process for FAAs and JE Civil will start soon,” DIPR JK tweeted.

The development comes 45 days after LG Manoj Sinha ordered a probe into the allegations of irregularities in the selection process and assured that fresh recruitment would be made after the cancellation of the earlier process if any irregularity was established. Earlier the government cancelled the selection of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspector list and now two more selection lists. The FAA selected candidates were on road for the last three fortnights seeking the list not to be binned.
