Several students injured in road accident Kathua
Kathua: A frightening road mishap has appeared in which 11 school children are reportedly injured in Ramkot area of Kathua.
As per the report, the incident appeared near the Ramkot police station when the auto driver lost his control over the vehicle and fell in the gorge near the road.
Later with the help of local residents the injured were taken to the nearby PHC, Ramkot and those who sustained serious injuries were immediately referred to GMC, Kathua.
The auto driver has been identified as Sagar whose auto bears registration number ‘JK08G4135’ and it has been reported that he was carrying 15-20 passengers in his vehicle ,which became the reason of overloading and cause of which he was not able to take a sharp turn in-time on unmetalled road and thus which culminated in the fatal accident.
While this incident has claimed 11 wounded school children out of which four has received serious injuries who were shifted to GMC Kathua from Primary Health Centre( (PHC) Ramkot, the report said.
