Waiter from Jammu wins Rs 1 Cr for his Dream11 Fantasy League Cricket Team
A youth from Dhamma village of Udhampur in Jammu has won Rs 1 crore prize money from a virtual gaming platform called Dream11. This is the life changing moment for him as he had received the prize money after forming a “dream team” on the fantasy gaming app.
The boy has been identified as Naresh Singh(24), he is a resident of Dhamma village of Udhampur district in Jammu.
This virtual fantasy platform allows its participants to choose players from both teams playing a real-life match. It’s during the live match, that the participants win points based on the players’ performance during the live match. Winners get their prize money based on the points. Naresh Singh have won the award after trying his luck in the matches which he has played in the game.
He has informed JK media in his interview that he was working as a waiter in a hotel in Patnitop in Udhampur, when he started playing the game.
“I would like to thank JK Media first for calling me. I am not a regular player of the game and just some days ago I started playing matches by making my own team in this game. In the month of March this year I started playing this virtual game. No one guided me how to play this cause I self learned it”. Naresh said.
He further said that he never thought that luck will favour him like this way. Adding he said, “I was in Patnitop when I got the text that I have won the prize money of Rupees 1 crore. I felt immense pleasure on reading that. I have received my payment. I have decided to give a feast at our local temple in Udhampur”.
