580 Engineers Posts Of JE, AEs, AEEs, XENs, SEs,Chief Engineers Lying Vacant: JKPEECC
JAMMU: Power Employees and Engineers under the banner of JKPEECC an amalgam comprising of various Unions of PDD led by Er. Sachin Tickoo, President JKEEGA and Convenor PEECC, Er. Jaipal Sharma, Chairman JKPEECC & President DEA, Sh.Shakti Gupta Chairman PPEU, Koushal Sharma ,PPEU, Tarun Gupta, president youth wing ,Ashiq Hussain president, Lineman & Workers union, HD Singh ,president TEF, Gurmeet Singh, CNGEU, Akhil Kumar ,president PDL/TDL workers union held a meeting here in Jammu and discussed threadbare the status of the issues that were committed to be resolved by Government in the agreement signed between JKPEECC and the Govt.
While welcoming the move of the Chief Engineer JPDCL to issue the combined seniority of the PDL/TDL and other workers on the basis of their dates of engagement as per the rules and vogue, they sought that maximum vacancies should be filled through DPC at an earliest so that no further delay is done. The members also welcomed the seniority of Tech-III framed by the Chief Engineer, JPDCL and sought that DPC of this cadre be also completed.
Further JKPEECC appealed Principal Secretary PDD that number of vacant positions of ministerial and executive cadre are vacant and due to non-availability of Managing Director JKPTCL, since last 3 months the DPC of the UT level cadres has not been done and people are on verge of retirement despite vacancies.
Despite creation of the posts of the CPAO/AOs none of them have been deputed to the Corporations overburdening the existing CPAOs and affecting the management of the Finance related matters of the twenty thousand employees. Re-Constitution of PDD Employees Welfare fund disbursement committee has not been done till date , despite the fact that the employees own salary contribution of over 5 crores is lying with the department and next to kin of deceased are still suffering.
