Engagement / Hiring of Helpers/ AAYAs under Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)

Applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible female candidates for Engagement / Hiring of Helpers/ AAYAs under Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) in schools of this Zone shown in Annexure – A. The application shall be submitted to the Incharge of the schools where the applicant is seeking her engagement/Helpers.
1. ELIGIBITY CRITERIA OF HELPER/AAYA:
(a) Only female candidates will be deployed / engaged.
(b) The Helper deployed must be Domicile of the Village in case of Rural Area and Ward in case of Urban Area, where approved school (Annexure -A) is located .
(c) Candidate must be belonging to BPL ( Below Property Line) category.
(d) The candidate must be physically / mentally fit to carry out her job.
2. QUALIFICATION / PREFERENCE:
Minimum qualification of a Helper/ AAYA: 8th class passed, in case there is no eligible candidate available in Village / Ward, the candidate with lesser qualification shall be considered.
(a) Preference shall be given to candidates from BPL category in the below mentioned order of Priority ;
I) Widow
II) Divorced
III) Orphan
IV) Any candidates among the poorest of the poor in the Village/Ward
3. AGE:
I) The age of a candidate must be between 18-45 years as on 1st of January of the deployment year.
4. Last Date for submission of application is 22-02-2023.
5. HONORAIUM: Rs 5000/- ( Five Thousand Only) Per Month, which may vary as per the approval in the subsequent year in PAB of Samagra Shiksha.
6. TERMS AND CONDITION :
The Helpers/ AAYAs for pre-primary sections of Govt. Schools shall have to perform below mentioned suggestive tasks :
I) Escorting the Children at their arrival, departure, between activities (for example while moving to outdoor areas, Play Ground and Toilet etc).
II) Maintaining the hygiene of the Children – Toileting, hand washing, Cleaniness of Children etc.
III) Helping the teacher in preparing class for activities, like setting up the material, making arrangements for day to day activities.
IV) Assisting the children in taking food under the supervision of Teacher, under PM POSHAN (MDM).
V) Any other assignment given by HoI for the proper care of Children.
VI) In case of any misconduct, misbehave and poor performance while discharging duty , by a Helper / AAYA, as noticed/reported, the concerned Head of Institution (HoI) as per the Table – A, shall have have the right to terminate the services of Helper/AAYA in consultation with the Panchayat halqa / Municipal ward with due adherence to the prescribed procedures, as the case may be. The replacement shall be made within 7- days.
7. Engagement of Helper/ AAYAs shall be purely terminus and shall conclude with the end of academic session or as per the directions issued by the higher authorities from time to time. The selected candidates have to produce an affidavit from Ist Class Magistrate at the time of joining for not claiming for permanent absorption at any stage.
8. The undersigned reserve the right to cancel the candidature of any applicant found illegible / forged documents at any stage of engagement process.
Note :-
For the convenient of candidates applications shall be submitted to the Incharge of concerned Schools and the Incharge will submit the applications in this Office for further proceeding / selection of candidates.
