DDC Reasi Babila Rakwal conducts extensive tour of Block Arnas
District Development Commissioner, Reasi Babila Rakwal today conducted extensive tour of Block Arnas and inspected number of developmental projects of R&B, PMGSY, Jal Shakti and RDD Department. She was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner, Reasi; PO, ICDS, Reasi; Assistant Commissioner Development, Reasi; Executive Engineers of PWD(R&B),Reasi / PMGSY , Mahore/ MID Dharmari, CEO Reasi alongwith PRIs and locals of Panchayats of Block Arnas. While inspected NABARD Road from Kanthan to Thalla, the executing agency was directed to complete the work in given timeline and also to construct approach path for the Primary school. Narloo Hunder Road under CRF Languishing scheme was also inspected and the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) was directed to expedite the work and complete it within the three months as per given time line.
District Development Commissioner also inspected PMGSY Road from Salal to Sarman and directed Executive Engineer, PMGSY to complete the work within stipulated time period. Deputy Commissioner, Reasi visited under construction Dug well (70% completed), Pump room and GSR of 20,000 Gallon capacity of Water Supply Scheme (WSS) Kanthan and Arnas constructed under JJM. Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Dharmari was directed to expedite and complete the work of both the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) by 31st of May 2023. Two water supply schemes of Jal Shakti Department was inspected namely WSS Kanthan & WSS Arnas.
Various completed works under SBM were also inspected namely Community Sanitation Complex (CSC) constructed at Salal and Segregation sheds at Chanana Devta, Salalkotli and Salal Panchayat.
Deputy Commissioner also visited Govt. Higher secondary School, Salal and inspected Tile work in assembly ground constructed under ADF (BDC Grants). Besides, inspected Library, Laboratory and Art Room of HSS Salal constructed under Samagra Shiksha and directions were issued to Chief Education Officer, Reasi/Principal, Govt. HSS Salal to make them functional. She also directed for shifting of the Library from existing building to new building, replacement of volleyball net and construction of approach road to the school out of School Development Fund.
Newly constructed meeting hall at Panchayat Ghar at Salal was inspected and directions for completion within next 15 days was issued.
Deputy Commissioner, Reasi inspected PHC, Arnas and directed health functionaries to get the status of the building verified from PWD department for further according direction.
