Chief Secretary J&K directs strict action against Employees travelled outside India without proper permission
Jammu, August 19: In a high level meeting of Commissioner/Secretaries , Having been apprised of certain cases where employees have travelled out of country without proper permission, the Chief Secretary observed that in all such cases strict action be taken against said employees under relevant rules.
Besides, the Chief Secretary directed that post-facto approval to be avoided in these cases unless the case is legitimate and has got been verified through agencies.
Further, the Chief Secretary directed that leaves for higher education be sanctioned only in the cases the departments can spare the employee for the said period.
After observing the seriousness of the issue, about poor performance of advocates in CAT & other related issues, the CS directed Law Secretary to have the said issue be taken up with the concerned quarters.
Following previous directions CS again directed that certain reports on social media needed to be appropriately responded to timely.
He further emphasized to have such replies particularly on social media ensured on a real time basis.
