His Royal Highness the last Dogra ruler Maharaja Hari Singh
SAMBA : The Pathseekers International School today organised a special session on the 128th Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, and paid heartfelt tributes to His Royal Highness the last Dogra ruler of Jammu and Kashmir. The management, staff, and students of the school came together to honor and remember the illustrious Maharaja with floral offerings as a mark of profound respect and appreciation.
The special session was organised by the Faith house, in which various activities were conducted under the leadership of Mrs. Sujata chib, Ms. Shivani Choudhary, Ms. Alka Khara, Komal & Renu devi.
Stage committee was headed by Ms. Indu Mankotia & Ms. Kamaljeet Kour along with other team members.
Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s legacy lives on through his significant contributions to various facets of society. He is remembered for his unwavering commitment to the upliftment of the girl child, the promotion of education among children, his efforts in the agriculture sector, and his dedication to alleviating the plight of the marginalized low-caste communities.
Beautiful act was played by students namely Aryaveer Singh, Harshpreet , Tamana Ch., Palvi Ch., Parmakshi Verma, Arush , Sudha Kumari & Vanshika Ch. along with many others.
While speaking on the occasion, the Head of the Institute, Mrs. Manpreet Kaur, commended the hard work put in by the staff & students to make this event meaningful.
The celebration not only serves as a reminder of the remarkable contributions of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji but also highlights the importance of continuing his legacy by actively engaging in initiatives that promote education, upliftment, and social equity.
