Jammu and Kashmir Leads the Nation in Exceptional e-Governance Service Delivery
Jammu : Jammu and Kashmir has reached a remarkable milestone in the realm of e-governance, offering over 1028 services online to its citizens, institutions, and businesses. According to a statement by an official spokesperson, the National e-services Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) report, released by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) of the Government of India, has placed J&K at the forefront. The region secured the topmost position with an impressive 1028 e-services, surpassing Madhya Pradesh, which offered 1010 e-services, and Kerala, which provided 911 e-services.
This significant achievement firmly establishes Jammu and Kashmir as a leader among states and union territories in the provision of e-services.
Commending the efforts of all departments, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his satisfaction with this achievement. He noted that it aligns perfectly with the commitment and determination of the J&K administration to provide ease, convenience, and accessibility of services to the common man, ushering in a new era of digital governance.
