Overview of JK Teacher Recruitment 2023
The Directorate of Samagra Shiksha, Jammu & Kashmir, has announced the commencement of the recruitment process (Notification No: 01 of 2023) for Special Educators. These positions are offered under the PM Shri Scheme, opening up 69 positions across two divisions.
Positions Available:
- Special Education Teachers (SETs)
- Kashmir Division: 34 positions
- Jammu Division: 35 positions
- Total: 69 positions
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these coveted positions, candidates need to meet certain criteria:
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years (01.01.1983 to 01.01.2005)
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects
- B.Ed. Spl. Ed. or its equivalent from an RCI recognized Institute
- Domicile: Must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir
Remuneration and Application Process
Successful candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. To apply:

- Tie-breaking factors: Higher marks percentage in B.Ed. Sp. Ed., UG marks, and age.
