J&K: Suspension Orders Issued Against 12 PDD Employees

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government Tuesday suspended twelve employees of the Power Development Department and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them.

Principal Secretary Power Development Department H Rajesh Prasad in this regard has issued suspension orders against 12 employees.

The suspension and disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against five In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE’s), two Assistant Engineers (AE’s) and five Junior Engineers.

Prasad in different suspension orders of the employees of KPDCL and JPDCL said that the disciplinary proceedings under rule-33 of the JK Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 are contemplated against them.

The AEEs suspended are namely Gulzar Ahmed Khan, I/C AEE Sub Div Budgam, KPDCL; Sheikh Mustafa Hussain I/C AEE Sub Div MR Gunj, ED-III, KPDCL; Farooq Raina I/C AEE Sub Div Kangan, KPDCL; Rajnish Sharma I/C AEE Sub Div Dharmari of Elect Div Reasi, JPDCL and Vinod Kumar I/C AEE Sub Div, Ramkot of ED Kathua, JPDCL.

Two Assistant Engineers suspended today are Sushil Angral, AE placed in Sub Division Reasi of ED Reasi, JPDCL and AE Sandeep Kumar, placed at Sub Div Pouni of ED Reasi, JPDCL.

Five Junior Engineers placed under suspension are namely Waseem Yatoo posted at Sheikh Bagh ED-I, Srinagar KPDCL; Kunser Shafi JE, ED-Ist Nishat, Srinagar KPDCL; Kuldeep Kachroo, JE Sheikh Bagh ED-Ist Srinagar, KPDCL; Mohd Imran Khuroo, JE , SD-I, ED Sopore, KPDCL and Rouf Maqbool, JE Rainawari, ED -IV Srinagar , KPDCL.

Accordingly, the Principal Secretary therefore placed all the 12 employees under suspension with immediate effect.
