Shoot out near GMC Kathua Gangster killed, Police Sub Inspector martyred
JAMMU: A Gangster Vasudev alias Shuniu has been shot dead in an exchange of fire with police near Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua.
As per details with Cross Town News , Probationary Sub-Inspector Deepak Sharma, who suffered head injuries during the encounter, died during treatment on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, Police Team chased gangster Vasudev, a key accused in a murder case registered at Ramgarh police station, which led to an exchange of fire near the Government Medical College hospital around 10.30 pm on Tuesday.
PSI Deepak Sharma who received head injuries , SPO Anil Kumar was also injured during firing incident & one Gangster died in shootout at GMC Kathua. The Injured PSI Deepak Sharma shifted to Amandeep Hospital, Pathankot where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment today.
