Seven Pilgrims Travelling to Vaishno Devi died, Over 20 Injured After Their Mini-Bus Meets With Accident on Ambala Highway
Seven members of a family were killed and around 25 others were injured when a truck collided with a mini bus in Haryana's Ambala in the early hours of Friday.
The accident took place on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway when a mini bus carrying pilgrims to Vaishno Devi was hit by a truck.
A survivor of the accident said that the driver was drunk and fled the spot immediately after the accident.

At least seven people died and 20 were injured when a minibus was hit by a truck here in the early hours of Friday, May 24, 2024, police said.
According to Kaushal Kumar, Medical Officer, Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt, the accident occurred near Mohra village on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway early today.
The bus was carrying around 30 people from Uttar Pradesh who were going to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, they said. (PTI)
